The All American 1 Man Legends Show Turned on the Heart Light to a Packed House for Loyal Neil Diamond Fans
Days after the sold-out Neil Diamond concert at the DTE Theater, Michael Carluccio captured the hearts, eyes and ears of Diamond fanatics at a private party in Clinton Twp.
Las Vegas, NV – The “man of a thousand voices,” Mike Carluccio, was asked to perform all the Neil Diamond hits from his 1 Man Tribute Show. Much of the party’s audience that attended the DTE concert under rainy conditions, appreciated every one of Carluccio’s renditions, including the 1982 ballad, Turn On Your Heart Light, from the hit movie, “ET, the Extra-Terrestrial.”
“Mike is a favorite entertainer on Michigan stages,” said JG Contrera Productions President, Joe Contrera. “He has performed his ‘All American 1 Man Legends Show’ from New York to L.A. with stops in Central Park, St. Louis, Las Vegas, the Hollywood Bowl …”
The Detroit newspaper music critic, Dennis Nazelli, tagged the James Bond look-a-like as “’The Man with a Thousand Voices” using a ‘rat-packish’ devil-may-care, swingin-rock-n-rollin' style.’” Carluccio has appeared in front of Hollywood’s elite at the Golden Apple Awards, the Las Vegas MGM Grand, the Skyview Terrace and Tropicana stages, the St. Louis Fox Theater, New York’s Central Park Amphitheater and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and the Andiamo’s Night Club in Michigan.
Apart from his Las Vegas tribute artist talent, the one factor that drives audiences to beg for more is Michael’s contact with the admiring audience during showtime. “I love performing outside of Las Vegas,” blushed Michael. “In Vegas, they don’t allow us to get out and into the audience. Here our singing goes beyond the eyes and ears; it gets inside and touches their hearts.”
Carluccio’s schmaltzy sentiment may seem a bit sentimental. Yet, his Las Vegas Tribute presentation depends on that high voltage connection with the audience.
JG Productions will bring Mike’s 1 Man Legends Show back to Michigan for two dinner-show concerts in October.
On October 5, 2012, the All American 1 Man Legends Show will land at the Barrister Gardens in Saint Clair Shores. Joining Michael’s list of a thousand voices (Sinatra, the King, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Dean Martin, Johnny Cash, Bobby Darin, Tom Jones, Roy Orbison and …..) will be Danny D., widely known as a spectacular Rod Stewart impersonator. The Motor City's Danny D (Dzialo) has just released a rich, 10-song compilation CD seething with the Detroit sound. Hailing from Hamtramck, Michigan, Danny D literally grew up in the center of Detroit Rock City.
For reservations and tickets, contact the Barrister Gardens at 586-773-4040 or 586-563-8117.
